On Affecting Change through Artist-in-Residencies
In light of the global pandemic but also Black Lives Matter protests, #metoo debates and other struggles for justice and equality, Dutch artist-in-residence organizations Hotel Mariakapel and Kunsthuis SYB together with TransArtists | AiR Platform NL organized an online symposium where specialists from the residency and broader art field discussed on how to create positive change in and through small art institutions. The publication brings together voices and propositions, based in the daily running of residencies and art spaces, to inspire and give tools to think about organizational change.
