The book is broken into two main sections: an illustrated chronology interspersed with a large number of black and white photo documents from private and public archives; and a section with interviews and personal stories of contemporaries introduced with color portraits at the beginning of the publication. The softcover format is bound with 4 different tints of white paper stock that randomly changes throughout the book responding to the notion of time passing.
