Exhibition poster for the solo exhibition by Danish-born artist Line Finderup Jensen. In her CGI rendered video works, she incorporates the eerie into the logics of normative institutions embracing imperfections and awkward distortions. Exhibition poster for the solo exhibition by Danish-born artist Line Finderup Jensen that can be hung in series to create an endless pattern of a “seemingly” idyllic middle-class neighbourhood.
Jensen’s art practice interrogates the conditions of happiness in a heteronormative world. In her CGI rendered video works, she incorporates the eerie into the logics of normative institutions, such as the happy family, an elderly home or a middle-class neighbourhood, embracing imperfections and awkward distortions.
