Monteverdi Collection
Monteverdi Collection
Monteverdi Tuscany is a boutique retreat set within a medieval hilltop village overlooking the Val d’Orcia. The publication Monteverdi Collection marks ten years of the collection and the opening of the new Monteverdi Gallery, designed by Foster + Partners in 2024.
The inaugural exhibition brought together artists including Patrizio Di Massimo, Monster Chetwynd, Laure Prouvost, Matt Connors, Ansel Krut, Billy Sullivan, and Linder. The book features conversations with three artists about their experience at Monteverdi, where they have been given time and space to create work. These are interspersed throughout the book and printed on coloured papers drawn from the Tuscan landscape – from the greens of cypress and olive groves to the warm earth tones of Siena.
The typography combines Victor Serif by Kometa Typefaces with F Grotesk by Radim Peško for an elegant and modern touch.
